My house has a bad mold problem but using this dehumidifier in the whole house, my mold situation has dropped tremendously. The first day in 4 hrs had to empty the water. The water container holds approximately 1 1/2 gallon. The only issue I have and elderly people would have is getting the water compartment out to empty and put back. The replacing the water compartment is hardest for me. It doesnt slide back in place easily.
